I attended the memorial service of a friend of mine yesterday. He was really young, full of life and definitely was taken away way before schedule. He will be missed by many.
Speaking to a few people after the service, I was forced to think about something. Does something like this make you stop believing in God? Or does it force you to believe in God, for if not, his life and passing seems aimless?
I don't know the answer, but for now I'm going to keep on believing.

y'know roshan...i never really believed in god, but i was perhaps agnostic. karen's death vaporized any hope of my ever believing in a god, at least not a benevolent one, or one that gives a crap.
